Recap CodeJam Internet of Things with SAPHCP
May 29 2015, about 25 developers gathered at The Next View for another great SAP CodeJam event. This time all about Internet of Things with SAP HANA Cloud Platform. There is a lot to find online and here on SCN regarding theiot topic. It is a hot topic, some even call it the ‘new mobile’. But, as we have discussed that during the podcast, it’s not the new mobile as IoT has a much broader impact on both our personal as well as on our business lives.
With the newly announced (SAPPHIRE NOW 2015) IoT services for SAPHCP, SAP is really helping out developers to use the platform for IoT scenarios. With SAP’s tools you are facilitated in the development process so that you can focus on the actual scenario that you want to realise. And SAP promises to deliver much more new IoT services in the near future. Look forward to that …
We did some heavy coding
And had some serious looking peers
SAP brought some cool devices, see the LED blinking ;-)
You’re not on your own, CodeJam collaboration
And … eureka!
All thanks to our onsite all stars team from SAP
Not to forget, the food, CodeJam food

Again a successful CodeJam event where you can meet your peers, learn by doing and have fun. ThanksCraig Cmehil and team for making this possible.
Podcast HANA Café NLAfter the event we sat down with some die hard participants and talked about IoT in a HANA Café NL podcast episode. Not to worry, it is recorded in English
Small footnoteAlthough SAP offers the CodeJam events free of charge, this doesn’t mean that there aren’t any obligations for you as participant. If you subscribe, please show up and participate or be so polite to cancel your subscription in time. With your cancellation you can offer an other enthusiastic peer to join the event and you prevent that the organisation committee orders too much food. There is really nothing to it and shows respect to the SAP experts and the event organisation.
