Safe To Bike talk at SAP FKOM 2017

A recap video by Frank Basten and me about the Safe To Bike story.
Safe To Bike won the SAP/VNSG Code4Good hackathon in 2016. Partners Quinso, Frolic Studio, Interpolis and SAP developed a prototype that is used in a 3 months pilot with 100 students.

Results:

  • Less accidents due to better insight - so a safer ride on the bicycle
  • Less insurance money to be paid
  • Better insight into dangerous locations to improve road situation

But the best one is: If we can safe one child from having an accident, Safe To Bike is a major success!

What about virtual / augmented reality and UI5?

This years #UI5Top5 does not include AR/VR apps. What do you think? When will we meet AR/VR in a business context? Do you want a UI5 Top 5 in 2019 or do we focus on Immersive Experience (Augmented, Virtual, Mixed and Assisted Reality) in stead?
